looks more like the LT simply got clumsy for a moment.

Yep. Once he gets his stamina back, he'll be better. And again, once he starts to trust that knee 100% and not think about it, it'll be another step forward to being back to where he was.

The defense really struggled in the 2nd half yesterday. The heat was clearly getting to several of the players.

I'm worried about Newman. He played so well last year, but at 36, realistically how much is left in the tank? Also this defense absolutely depends on Burfict. As soon as he left the field the Ravens TEs and running game became much more a factor.

Maualuga only played in 31 of 88 snaps yesterday. I still see a pretty good chance Vinnie Rey takes that job permanently.

I think Dennard needs to get healthy and up to speed. It's pretty clear that Swag has no football instincts and is going to be a complete bust. Dennard, Hall and Jones would make a good trio and I think Newman can still help this season. But I agree, he's getting a little long in the tooth and we shouldn't expect his skills to last long.

Atkins might play, but the fact that he was carted off and is skipping a practice makes me think he'll be playing injured.

I think he's playing injured all season..... Maybe his knee is repaired, but he's probably dealing with a number of other issues that will keep him from performing up to his high standard.

He's going to get the veteran treatment. Lots of rest, and little practice. I have no issue with this.

He graded out positively this past weekend. If that starts to change, or he doesn't improve as the season goes on, then I would be worried.

After just one week...this is nothing worth really talking about unless you are just looking for something to complain/worry about.
