They have some solid forwards and the King have overall depth of defense in the entire organization. NY needs some help on the back end, LA needs some help up front.
With all the trades and loss of draft picks the last 4-5 years, LA hasn't been able to build up the forward pool. Kempe was the top level prospect up front, and with him in LA now Mersch is pretty much it, and after that it's a glut of the Andreoffs and Shores of the world.
The Kings need to get some potential T6 forward prospects or NHL guys ready to play now. The window is already closing on LA's chance for another Cup, you could say it started 1-2 years ago.
