Then get this playoff pitching rotation in place.

It was a rental OF player traded away essentially (at this point anyways) for Oakland for a rental playoff proven #1.

Trade works for Oakland.

Thats not going to be a problem. You see Kluber complete game shut out the M's last night needing a whopping 82 pitchs!

I guess if your happy with it thats good. But trading your clean up hitter on the big league club is kinda crazy no?

Not crazy when you consider starting pitching wins playoff games. Something Oakland has struggled with of late. The offense's cupboard is far from bare.

Yeah, a great trade.

My friends in LA say the same thing about not wanting to face Felix in a 1-game playoff. They'd pretty much rather face anybody.

The good news for you is that the M's have an incompetent GM, and it will take something amazing for them to get there in the first place. Could happen, but it just doesn't seem likely.
