Btw, who are the NHL scheduling geniuses that gave us our 3rd set of road back-to-back games in a month? This will be the fifth set of games on back-to-back nights in a month as well. Craziness.

I don't know who they are, but I know they must hate Buffalo. The Sabres have 22 back to back games this season and have averaged 19 a year over the past 3 seasons.

Geesh. That's rough.

Probably won't get any better. With all this time off, I'm sure Crosby has had plenty of chances to meet with Bettman to get exactly what he wants for the next couple years. The Caps will have 15 nights in a row of hockey and then three weeks off for most of next year.

The scheduling has sucked across the board this season. They were just talking about it on the radio up here in Pittsburgh. It must have been tossed together by the same trained monkeys who picked the at large teams for the NCAA Tourney this year.

Two of them were travel games with games starts less than 24 hours from the previous night. That 7pm start in Philly then the 6pm start in Minnesota was a stroke of genius.! Damn ! It's not like that's a short flight.

Last one they played a 7 pm game in Toronto then the next night played a rested Ottawa team with a 5 pm start.

Good thing they won both games....stick it Bettman !!
