BC is playing Cincinnati at a 3pm game on Thursday after New Years. I mean come on. Who do they expect will actually go to these bowl games besides the teams family?

I get it..... MONEY and I love watching college football no doubt but this is a little extreme no?

I will say this year I have watched the least amount of bowls. I'll never complain about too many college football games on, but it felt this bowl season was a lot of 7-5 vs 6-6 teams and it was like MAC team vs ACC team or C-USA team vs MWC team and I really didn't care about them.

I agree that the bowls need repairing. Make them a little more exciting and interesting.

not to say there wont still be blowouts but if Cinici at 10-3 is stuck with a 6-6 and blowing them out even if they are a P5 teams should suggest maybe they should have got a 8 win G5 team. but then again Washington waxed Boise so...

If bowls weren't allowed to require a minimum number of tickets for each school, some of them would go away. Make them fund it totally themselves and several of them would go away.

Another thing that has knocked my interest in bowl games is the renaming of them so often. It may be something dumb, but when you had bowl games with certain names for years and years the sponsor became apart of the bowl game itself and the tradition. Now the Cheeze It bowl will probably be the Honda Motors bowl in a year and then become the Geico bowl in 2 years, etc.

I've become to enjoy the New Era Pinstripe bowl. It's unique being played in a baseball stadium, it usually has awful weather given it's in New York City at the end of December, and given it's on in the middle of the day a day or two after Christmas, it is a great bowl game to watch and relax. With that, I am sure within a year or two it'll change names from it's sponsor of New Era and will probably also change names from Pinstripe bowl to something else, making it in about 3-4 years from now a bowl game I quickly forget about and no longer take time to watch.
