No shit.

Our Canes should be alright this season if we can get some positive play from the defense.

It would be nice to finally make it back to the Orange Bowl.

If the D-line can show signs of improvement as well as the secondary, we're looking at a 9-10 win season. We'll just have to see.

This may be my Oklahoma native bias, but the Oklahoma City Thunder will be a threat.

Better than my adapted city's Celtics this year, anyway.

The Celtics will be dangerous once Rondo get's healthy, but how long that will take there's
no way of knowing. They're rebuilding now, which is never fun, but something that can't
be avoided forever.

Boston fans sound like they did before they got KG and Ray Ray. Hopeless.

Outlaw, I am appreciative for what Paul and KG did here. Also, if KG did not waive his trade contract, we would not have goth the 3 first round picks AND the $11M trade exception. There movement gave Danny some major assets, and they did not need to do it. Pierce did the right thing, his interviews show he was not in love with the move, but Celtics needed to reload. I actually see paul back after next year and KG will retire at that time. Classy guys. Celtics wont win next year, but they structured to take advantage of CBA approach.

I forgot to add they also get Nets 2017 pick on top of above (swap) should the Nets pick be higher than Bostons. Thats most likely. Add that to current picks owed Boston, and you can see why I am so upbeat. I actually think Brooks can be turned around

Class moves by them!! They made the C's relevant again and by leaving, they are trying to help them get back to top level sooner!!

Red Auerbach said that he held on to Larry Bird a couple of seasons too long. Maybe Danny learned from that?

Sorry man, but the Celtics are in full rebuild mode now. In no way are they going to be a dangerous team. The only pure scorer they have on their team is Jeff Green and that's it. I'm even willing to wager vcash on this one.

I also think the Thunder's best chance to win was in 2011 when they had Harden. Each year they're declining in a 3rd scoring option behind Westbrook and Durant. First their was Kevin Martin last season. Now they're likely to rely on Jeremy Lamb. Sure the Thunder will still be one of the top teams in the West, but I just can't put them over in a series against Memphis, San Antonio, and the Clippers depending on how Doc can shape that team up.

No one has even seen the Nets play and they have a brand new head coach. Who knows how that will even work? How about we wait before we anoint them with ANYTHING?

The Nets coach won't be able to do anything about Paul Pierce, KG, and Jason Terry being past their primes.
Or about Jason Terry being both past it and DUMB!

At least Pierce and KG understand that their best days are behind them. JET didn't last year. MAYBE he does this year, but that's not a safe bet.

I watched all 3 of them with my Celtics last year so I do know something about them.

The Celtics could rebuild very quickly. They drafted well and did what had to be done with so many of their stars
showing their ages. They are a good bet to be better late in the season than early, if nothing else. And if Rondo's injury turns out to be less severe than I'm afraid it is...:hope:
