He also gets a ton of whiffs (12.7% swinging strikes, 43.1% K%). It certainly wouldn't hurt for him to shave his walk rate, but I don't think it's a big issue with all the strikeouts he's getting.

The CUBS are tired and hurt. Their pitching, defense and timely hitting worked perfectly last season.......
Now it's just the opposite. I still believe they can win their division, but there will be much stronger teams in the post season this year. The CUBS have played pretty close to horrible baseball, and yet they're still close to the top of their division.
Heyward has been hurt.....Bryant hasn't played well, Zobrist has been hurt.........Hendricks hurt....Schwarber has struggled.....Russell mediocre...........BUT IF, they all start clicking together.....who knows

The CUBS this season, are actually younger in many respects then last year.
If they get healthy, I still think they could make a run at it.

Not negativity from me I just think they played under their potential for 2 1/2 months. Knowing your a cowboys fan after last year if they're 4-4 after 8 games I think negatively would be rampant for them too.

The baseball season is very long and most teams experience ups and downs. There are only 16 games in an NFL schedule and a 4-4 start can be disastrous.
