Pretty amazing Scott Frost has taken an 0-12 team in 2015 to being ranked in less than 2 years. Hell of a turn around. Shame for UCF fans he won't be there for long, I'd guess.

Something tells me if Disnay swung from the nuts of the ACC (instead of what they do now), Clemson woulda received a much more resounding amount of #1 votes.

But, alas ....

Yeah. It is almost since Watson left Clemson, ESPN almost doesn't want them to be that #1 team. It is like they shouldn't be this good and ESPN doesn't want to admit it.

I think even Bama fans would be able to understand Clemson being ranked above them.

I don't have much of a problem with Georgia jumping UW right now. Even if Tennessee isn't good, to go there and beat them like that is impressive. We knew the schedule was gonna fuck with us. On top of the out of conference we knew was bad, other Pac teams aren't doing shit to help right now.

Although I get what you're saying, I'm getting the shits of the east coast voters.

Don't have an issue with Georgia jumping at all. We have a good team but haven't really played anyone yet. Back end of the schedule with WSU,Utah,Stanford and a CCG will help at the end if we win those games.

Yeah, that's the key. Polls now matter very little, but UW has the chance to earn status with those late season games and show they are playing solid ball at the time it matters most.

We need Stanford to keep the ship righted, and Utah to not suck, and win those last 3 games. Utah plays Stanford and wsu (in addition to UW) from the north, so there's a good chance that win wouldn't look all that good based on their record, even if they're a solid team.

If those teams beat each other up and drop down the polls it still won't remove them as tough conference outs. WSU and the CCG back to back would be enough unless everyone ahead of them stays undefeated which history says is almost impossible.

Mince no words here though, it goes without saying UW can't afford any kind of loss to anyone and even a questionable win like last years arizona game could greatly complicate things. It's all entirely moot if they don't run the table and not look terrible in any game. They have zero margin of error.

Some fun football on the horizon. Penn State,Michigan,Ohio State and Wisconsin battling it out on their side. Washington can not loose a game period. Alabama and Georgia my guess will play each other. Clemson and Oklahoma look like a lock. But who the hell knows:noidea:

Three 'quality' wins for Clemson. How many does Bama have?

Not to mention ... it's only what ... Week 6? If UDub is the cream of the crop, the season will show it, eventually.

If I'm a Dub fan, I'm not sweating these rankings.

I don't know why some of you UW fans are triggered at the polls right now. The meat of your schedule is at the back end and you know the voters and committee are reactionary to how things are going at the end. I'd rather my schedule be back loaded than front loaded. :noidea:

Why are UW fans pissing their pants about a poll that has absolutely zero implications for the CFP? They literally don't matter.
