Anyone watch School of Golf

with Martin Hall and Blair O'Neal? I could stare at Blair all day...but anyway

They were talking about where you should be looking at the ball depending on the club.

Martin colored a spot on the ball:

For the driver, the spot should be behind the ball, and you should be able to see it...helps with hitting up
For the hybrid and fairway woods, the spot should be on top of the ball...helps making a sweeping motion
For Irons the spot should be in front of the ball...helps hitting down on the ball

The last one has me interested because I struggle to hit clean shots with my irons. I'm hoping the course opens one last time so i can try it, seems like it would help with getting the weight forward and making a nice descending blow.

Yea, explaining where to look at the ball, he used a plane, train, and automobile reference to help you remember,...ummm...that makes no fucking sense at all...But Blair.....
