Anyone participate in autocross events?

I'm competing in my second one in a couple weeks, have yet to find anything more fun, it's better than sex.

What does it cost & where are you doing it? I'm aware of autocross, but I've never really looked into it before.

The only cost are membership fees which for the Porsche club are around $80 a year. There are events and clubs all over the Midwest. The upcoming one is at the Tire Rack in South Bend (the best course of the year from what I've heard). As long as your car is in decent shape you really don't have to make any modifications. There's anything from Ferraris to automatic 4 door BMWs there. It's a good time.

I just have a basic Honda CIVIC coupe, so I'm not really going to offer any competition to anyone. - I just thought that I might consider trying it out for my own enjoyment someday.

There's always a few Civics out there and they do quite well. I also was just doing it for my own enjoyment, but it's super addictive.
