Unfortunately I'm expecting a loss in most games this year. Last year was devastating in that regard and expectations need to be low with the lockout and all. For this year I really want to see improvement even if it doesn't show up in the record. Next year expectations will be much higher.

Road game, early start, their home opener...we've got a lot of things going against us. This is definitely a winnable game, but we need better play from the OL and the DBs than we got last week.

Not really expecting it but wouldn't be surprised by it either. After all, the
49ers are 7 and 39 playing east of their Pacific time zone since 2003.

Without Edwards as a receivng threat and an O Line that cannot open running lanes its going to be tough. It's going to come down a lot this year to making or not making a couple of plays in the game.

If Crabtree is "healthy" he needs to have a big game for Alex... Hopefully Davis can also break out in the offense this time.

I LIKED Dalton coming out, hope we could've grabbed him in the 2nd but oh boy, big game for our D, hopefully he gets nervous....

No one should expect a win unless we're playing Seattle. Expectations for the season aren't that high and they shouldn't be. With that said I expect to see our offense open up a little and try to stretch the field. If not Gore will be in for another 22 carries 57 yards type of game.

I am cautiously optimistic about this game. I think we can shut down thier run game and force the rook to carry them. If we bring pressure early and often Dalton will be in for a long day. 24-13 Niners!

I'm always rooting for a win... but always expecting one...not at all. Not with this team. I picked the Niners to win this one before the season started so I will go with a win. But I think it will be a lot closer than I originally thought.

I actually think Dalton may be a reason the 49ers will win the game. Good, experienced QBs tear the 49ers pedestrian defensive schems apart but the young inexperienced ones like Dalton are the ones the Niners usually beat. We'll see.

Completely agree. This is a stop-gap and turnover year for us. New coaching staff, new schemes, a lot of new players. Next season is when expecations need to be met.

Ha ha ha! I expect the 49er defense to go after him and make him uncomfortable.........of course I expected that against Romo as well once they knew he was hurt. My only worry is the defense going soft in the 4th quarter if the Niners get a lead.

dalton isnt good, he played the browns for god sakes, and aj green is banged up and simpson wont play, i expect to beat them by a touchdown at least

I am 100% expecting a win. IMO we should be 2-0 and we have to beat the bottom dwellers on any division regardless of if we are home or away.
