Every other time another board shut down, we'd get the huge influx of posters going to 'take over'. What ends up happening each and every time is a week or so of bravado and then the good posters stick around and meld into the current melting pot of SportsHoopla. The bad ones leave to go start their own board ( )or wander around as a nomad wishing they could come back, but they burned their chance in epic meltdowns on the way out.

I suggest we require them to read the first year's threads of the water cooler to get the feel for the history of SportsHoopla. Then quiz them and if they get less than 9 out 10 right boot them out.
