Feel like the World Series is coming much faster than it took for the NLCS??? That felt like forever and this feels like it's coming up so soon.

Well yeah, the wait was only 4 days to the WS, but 6 for the NLCS...

I think the weather may fuck things up for game 2. Like, what if there's a 2-3 day delay? Game 7 on Nov 7-8, in SF? Oy.

What happens if Game 2 is delayed multiple days? Will games 3-5 get pushed back as well?

yes. This happened in 89 b/c of the earthquake. However, they'll make every effort to get the games in.

somebody did make a point that delayed games may equal more Cliff Lee starts.

but then again that means more Lincecum starts, too =)

small issue but maybe Lincecum likes pitching in this wet northwest weather? Maybe he's a mudder

I was obviously aware of '89, but it is not a good comparison since both teams were effected by the quake (and a disaster the size of the quake does not equate to a rainy day)...

(Sorry, that sounds snarky. Not intended to be...)

I think they'll try to keep the 2-3-2 format as much as possible

*Speaking of 89, wasn't there was talk of having all 4 games at the Coliseum? Not that the A's needed HFA :L

If I remember correctly, the Coliseum was pretty seriously damaged and needed more time to fix than the stick. I remember stories going around that if the game were in Oakland, one of the upper sections MIGHT have collapsed from the weight of the crowds...
