I'm baaaaaaack....
...with these rosters? Looks like a doozy if you ask me.
I just can't wait for camp to start.
I'm pissed we couldn't put the foot down on Chicago two years in a row when we had the chance.
Looking forward now. Assuming Lou has a better year, I don't know who I would put ahead of us in the west right now. Granted it's a long way till October still.
Not Chicago (still in dump mode), SJ is weaker as it stands. Calgary is going the wrong way. maybe Detroit? maybe LA? (goalie dependent also)
I don't think anyone is calling for a walk Q.
Canucks have gotten stronger and deeper in the meantime (on paper anyways).
Canucks are the favourite again to win the NW...I still don't know if I believe in the Avalanche though, did we see the real Craig Anderson last year or was it a fluke? They got outshot in a ton of games last season. I still see a battle between Colorado and Calgary for 2nd place. Wild haven't done much to improve, but they should still be better than the Oil.

I think the Wings and the Canucks are the class of the Western Conference as of today. However, there's still a long time before October.
Chicago, San Jose, Los Angeles and St. Louis might have something to say about that though. All these teams have a lot of talent, but a couple holes as they stand right now.
I'm still not sold on Phoenix (even with Whitney), they had something like 14 Shootout victories and they as of now lost Zybnek Michalek, and most likely will lose Lee Stempniak and Matthew Lombardi.
I am surprised that they lost both of their monsters. That retarded contract to Boogaard you can't do anything about, but i thought they would keep the much cheaper John Scott (who still has toaster ovens for fists). Changes the complexion of playing against that team, but they haven't added anything in it's place.Wild haven't done much to improve, but they should still be better than the Oil.
