Rich Gannon and Pat Kerwin were talking about this on Satellite radio.

Interesting fact this year: Every team who has played the Seahawks has lost the following week. They were suggesting that the Hawks physical, wear-you-down style of play could be the reason teams don't win their following game. They are either injured or just physically drained after a Seahawks match.

I'm not sure if that's true or if it's just coincidence but I seem to remember about 10 San Fran players were injured (to varying degrees) after playing in Seattle on week 2.

I guess that means the Niners should have no problem with the Titans this weekend if the trend continues.

Of course we also lost the same week, thanks for reminding me. That's interesting, maybe their defense is banging people up a little more than most.

Let's hope that trend stops this weekend.

Yeah...

The way you guys just beat the Texans down.... just crushing them into submission.

Your defense just destroyed them only allowing 470 yards of offense. And then beating them down with 270 yards of Seattle offense... And 91 yards through the air? Wilson is a machine.. That was incredible. And holding their time of possession to just under 40 minutes? No one can win when the hold the ball for only 2/3 of the game. Thats insane.

And the way you beat the Jaguars down!!! Unbelievable. Seahawks = REAL DEAL!

Too funny.

Are you off your meds?

This has nothing to do with how dominant of win it may have been. Its just a fact that every team (including your Niners) has lost the week after playing Seattle. Even the Colts who beat Seattle still lost the following week. The theory being that Seattle's physical style leaves teams a tad wore out or with key injuries. That was certainly true with your Niners. They were black and blue leaving Century Link.

If you want to gripe about this fact being brought to light then call Rich Gannon and Pat Kerwin and gripe to them since they were the ones discussing it on NFL Satellite radio.

I think this is the kind of thing they were talking about. That's the Defensive Player of the Year in case you forgot and he looks pretty messed up.

Breaker is still very upset about that Houston game. Being "outplayed" and still winning is just the sign of an excellent team and it pisses her off to know end.

Just be happy that Davis is back and at top form. He was 75% of the niners passing offense last Sunday, all while being steadily stared down by his QB. Very impressive. Good luck with that against Seattle.

Outside of the 49ers/Colts games I'm curious to know which of these teams were actually favorites to win?

Carolina played in Buffalo the following week- I believe it was either a PK or a Carolina was a very small favorite.

Jacksonville played Indy and obviously they were heavy underdogs

Houston played SF and were huge underdogs

Indy played San Diego and they were 1.5 favorites

This makes a lot of sense. It is still a weird trend.

Did you have to ruin it? Lets laugh at them for a little while longer before spelling it out ok?

This one was good for at least three or four days of humor.

What was SanFran's excuse for losing to the Colts the week after playing Seattle then? SanFran was a big favorite and they were playing at home.

No matter how you try to diminish it the fact remains that no team has won the week after playing the Seahawks. Call it fluke, coincidence, or call it a ham sandwich. It doesn't matter because it's true.

Davis is an amazing TE which is why he racked up 180 yards receiving yards. Unfortunately facts interfere with your logic about Kaepernick starting down Davis all game along. Which isn't surprising considering the thread you are in full of seahawk fans blowing smoke up their own asses.

Number of times thrown to:

Vernon Davis 11
Boldin 8
All other receivers 9

Thats not locking on to one guy dufus. Vernon Davis did what he did with 8 catches. 8 catches for 180 yards. Best performance by a TE in twenty years.

The growing arrogance of seattle fans is nothing new... but now trying to take credit for a team losing the week after they play you whether they lost to you or not....

So the Colts lost the week after they played you because you beat them up so badly?

We watched the game man... You might find it hard to believe but we all have TV sets too.

And seriously, taking credit for Houstons losses? You beat them up so badly Schaub threw three pick six's before they even played you!!! :laugh3: Now thats amazing.

So maybe its all true.... just look at the Jaguars, they lost FOUR STRAIGHT right after being beaten by the Hawks!!!! They totally would have beaten Denver if they hadn't played the Hawks earlier.

Oh wow, he targetted other recievers. Unfortunately all his PRODUCTION came from locking on to Davis.

Jealous?!?

Of what?? Beating the 9ers like red-headed step children, or having a one game lead and the tie-breaker after 6 weeks?

Typical bitter little Stuporbreaker. Hates all things Seattle related without any rhyme or reason.

He is not trying to take credit, Sally. Just stating a fact. Your insecurity is making it something its not.

Stuporbreaker saying Seattle fans are arrogant after years of troll-spamming the Seattle boards with his arrogant crap and outright lies about his personal life!!

Maybe you should start with learning how to spell receiver, then you can start to understand how the numbers make your comments look fucking stupid.

He targeted other receivers more than he targeted Davis. Thats not locking on. Davis just made the most of it, and was on fire. 8 of 11 in fact. So the fact that he got 3 more passes than the next closest receiver is not hard to understand. Especially the way Peterson was shutting down Boldin.

And really, if he was "locking on" then it wouldn't have probably worked would it. When QB's lock on to a WR they don't go 8 of 11 for 180 yards and 2 TD's. Especially against a good defense.

How humorous is it that when kaep doesn't play well its because he is "locking on", and then when the passing game does well, its only because he was "locking on" to receivers.

Seriously, seattle has to have one of the most oblivious fan bases in the NFL. Maybe its the isolation of the pacific northwest?
