I have waited my whole life for this season. Cubs fan since 1966. I remember riding on school busses from the Town Hall of my Western Suburbs village to Wrigley that summer, with a whole bunch of other neighborhood kids. Ron Santo & Ernie Banks. This year is glorious. I was planning to visit Chi-town this Summer anyway, but the Cubbies are making it imperative. I know it is way early to get too jacked, but still ... These guys look like they are on a mission.

GO CUBS !!!

Cheers!

I had already moved to Seattle in 1980. I associate Harry Caray more with the White Sox. I fondly recall hearing Jack Brickhouse on my Dad's old B&W TV in the basement on Sunday afternoons.

Yep I'm like Kevin. Cable TV made me a Cub fan in 1982. When we got cable, WGN and TBS were my favorite two channels. Living in the South, most of my friends chose the Braves and TBS. I chose the Cubs

I guess my first cub rememberence was being 9 years old getting hassled for wearing my pajama shirt to a game since it was a uniform top. Dont know if I got shit for it being pajamas or because nobody else had one, that would have been 1974. Yeah, I want to see them win, but really dont have time listening to the twenty somethings in college living at home saying they waited long enough.

I'm 53 and a Cub fan since 70......Remember Herman Franks as a manager, Pete Lacock,Don Kissinger, Glen Becker. And a favorite player of mine back in the day,Jose Cardenal..... My Dad hated him and called him a hotdog.....lol.....But of course, he was a Card fan.
Even remember Rick Monday saving the American flag from two buffoons trying to burn it during the game.... Wtf was that?

Seen horrendous teams.....
Seen decent teams....
And the worst of all,I was at the Cubbies Bear for the infamous Bartman game...... ugh!
