just curious about Loui Ericksson. I know hes been banged up a bit this season and its new team and linemates etc etc but I am super unimpressed by this guy. I've watched numerous games this year and he has yet to do anything that is above average in my opinion. This guy came in as a 30+ goal guy and he has 8 this year. I think hes super lucky that the team has been playing as well as it has because if they weren't he would be under allot more scrutiny, especially seeing how well Seguins been playing in Dallas...thoughts anyone??

I think Ericksson is a helluva player, but he has been hampered by injuries this year, he will be better next year.

Basically this.

I haven't watched him that much this year but he's always been a guy with a great release, plays smart and takes care of his own end. I'd bet on him bouncing back big time as soon as his health problems are in the rearview mirror.

Also LLOOOOLLLL at Stars fans.

Those damn concussions are so unpredictable and even though a guy says he's feeling okay and is ready to return, the actual healing time can be much longer. I guess that's a roundabout way of saying I would give Loui a pass on this season and wait until next year to see how he bounces back.

The Bruins gave up a FRANCHISE PLAYER for Ericsson. They may not regret it now depending on how they do in the postseason, but the future of Tyler Seguin is extremely BRIGHT.

Reilly Smith has been quite the bonus for the B's this season...

2 slice or 4 slice toaster?

If you think that Randy is capable of handling a 4 slice toaster you haven't been paying much attention to him the last few years

Past Bruins, Kessel, Seguin and Wheeler all putting up some serious points...that being said the team hasn't missed a beat and they're gonna good for quite a while

Honestly, was one of the best trades of the off-season, if Eriksson was healthy, they were getting a top 2-way player who can score 30+ goals. Sadly, he hasn't been able to stay healthy with the Bruins, only year 1, don't give up hope just yet.

Seguin, on the other hand, a fucking monster. Him and Benn together have been so damn exciting to watch, they have really clicked and will do the same for many years to come.

:agree:

Steve Downie is in the same boat so to speak. He is no where near the same quality of player Loui is but he was playing really well when the Flyers first acquired him but after a concussion he has never regained his form. I really believe that anything but the mildest of concussions takes much more time to come back from then any of these players are really taking.
