Over the years I have acquired a small collection of very old golf clubs. I don't know if any of them have any value and I do know that at least one of them is a replica which is a shame because that one particular club would be worth thousands if it was genuine.

I'll share some pics with you guys. If you have any neat old memorabilia, this would be a good place to show us what you have.

The first one I posted above is called a rake iron, go figure. It was used on the rudimentary courses of the late 1800's and early 1900's which had many sandy and muddy areas.

Playing on these old courses might have you laying in a puddle or something so this club might come in handy.

Sorry about the fuzzy picture.

This is a "long nose play club" and unfortunately it is clearly a replica. These clubs were used as drivers, fairway woods, chippers and putters back in the mid to late 1800's

The one I have is in beautiful condition and while it is still very old it has a very small stamping "replica" on the shaft. When I researched this one I found auction records for non replicas selling for upwards of 10K

I have a few more, but I will need to get some good photos of them before I post them.

This one is a high lofted wedge of some kind. The picture makes it tough to pick up, but there is actual ridges (like a potato chip) on the face instead of grooves like we have to day.
