LOL, if he plays better than Pears that is a plus and that wouldn't be hard to do. I do think he is still going to have to earn his old spot back but it does give the club more options

Niners could certainly use another pass rusher to help out Lynch. I do hope that he comes to camp in shape and ready to compete for a starting job. Anyone would be an upgrade over Pears.
