Greg Jamison, former chief operating executive of the San Jose Sharks, has expressed interest. Interest is one thing, take a look at the principal Mr. Jamison.

Glendale leaders say they are cautiously optimistic following last week's announcement that the former chief executive of the San Jose Sharks has expressed interest in buying the Phoenix Coyotes.

The city has confirmed that Greg Jamison, who spent years with the California hockey team, is leading one of two groups speaking to Glendale and the National Hockey League about purchasing the team. The identity of the second bidding group has not been released.

Council members who spoke to The Arizona Republic say they anticipate the Coyotes could be sold and a lease for the city-owned Jobing.com Arena, where the team plays, signed before the end of the year. They say they're excited to have options to consider.

I hope he buys the team and then Bettman gives him permission to move the team to Hamilton. Just to give the middle finger to Balsillie. (I have nothing against the man, I just think it would be funny).

Look, I'll be honest with ya. I know it's rare, I just don't know what the heck I'm going to do with it. There's no real market outside of one high school kid... I gotta clean 'em up, find a buyer down the road. I'll give you a thousand, but I think I'm crazy going that high.

How about 1500. We still have Shane Doan.

"I dunno... It may not even be the real Shane Doan. I'd have to get a guy I know who knows all about Shane Doan to come look at it.

Chum, what do you think?"

Is Jermany Robuck still there?

Yes. And Keith Tkachuk. The skinny one. If you want them. I have them in a box at home.
