that collapse was the best thing that could happen. A total meltdown = best draft position AND higher likelihood of Todd getting the Ax and the big two getting shipped.

If the sharks missed the PO's by a hair, dougie could argue they are only a small step away and could look to keep the big two. However, there is no way to argue that at this moment. They are far from a PO team and could easily finish double digits points outside.

Nevertheless, pretty epic collapse. Just in the last 20 games of the regular season instead of the PO's.

p.s.: Patricia now -19. Tied for the worst +/- in the last 18 years with...ummm.... herself! ('07-'08) Only one more to be the first -20 since the mid 90's!!!

Well atleast nemo just played himself out of a contract extension, marleau and thornton arent going anywhere, though Wilson and The Tadd might be done. Id imagine after that public spat it just got that much more impossible to bring an upper tier UFA in to SJ, so Dwill should go back to head of scouting.

Side note im all for them starting Stalock the last 7 games of the season let more youngsters play and give themselves the best possible chance at a high end first rounder
