Alshon Jeffrey and Keenan Allen will be FAs next season as well.
Really going out on a limb there
I like Garçon he's a favorite of mine and I think he plays way bigger then his size. He was great in red zone last year so it's very premature to assume doctson takes those snaps from him
Slightly disagree. If last year showed us anything, its that we have a semi secret mandate to play SMGM players over guys who have produced for us in the past who came in under the Mike Shanahan regime. Case in point, Matt Jones did NOTHING to deserve taking half of Alfs snaps other than being drafted by SMGM. I honestly think Doctson will be given every oppertunity to claim not only Garcon's spot, but ultimately the #1 WR spot and we go into next off season with the mandate of finding a less expensive version of D-Jax and a complimentary #3 as well. I think both will be gone after this season unless one or both put in all pro seasons in which case we might not be able to afford them any way.

I don't think Keenan Allen and Garçon would make much sense. Neither are deep threat field stretchers and they both do similar thingsI think Doctson may take DJ red zone snaps...if he was even out there in those situations.
As for next season, I think we will definitely resign DJ...unless we get Alshon Jeffrey or Keenan Allen.
Garcon is a much more complete football player than DJax. I like DJax, he is a great threat to go deep at all times. He doesn't block well and he isn't a guy you expect to make a lot of tough catches over the middle, still he helps the offense. I am thinking the wide receivers in the red zone will be Garcon and Doctson.

Respectively disagree about the RB situation from last season. Both players showed promise at times but each also had major issues. Both came out of the gate strong but faltered over time. This was result of their own efforts as well as perhaps the line & the fact that the Redskins had to rely more on the pass (& in passing situations Morris contributes practically nothing).
The suggestion here is that Gruden is trying to suck up to the GM. There may be slight truth to that, but overall I am not buying it. I believe that he wants to win & like most coaches will put in the best players that he believes can help that cause regardless of how they were acquired. No conspiracy theory here IMO.
I think folks vastly overrate Garcon. The fact that he's never caught more than 6 TD's in a season is an indicator that he's not a guy you want to go to in the red zone. Even in his 113 catch season - only 5 TD's. And now that he's lost a step, he averaged only 10.8 yards a catch last season. The biggest problem I had with him last season was that he was partially responsible for a lot of Cousins' interceptions.

No arguments at all regarding DJ being an incomplete player but he is special when it comes to demanding attention. Garçon doesn't threaten anybody. I love his toughness but he makes nobody better...DJ does. That is why I think DJ gets resigned.
I am with you on Garçon and Doctson in the red zone.
look garcon wasnt worth the contract but that happens in free agency . now i am not sure i can come to the conclusion that he was responsible for "a lot " of his picks i would have to see some film on that
I couldn't disagree more. Garçon is a rare instance of when a free agent IS worth the contract
