I see no balls involved. If I am a GM and can get the #1 (Luck) then the next year get the previous #3 overall for just a #1 pick. NO balls!! Just brains. The balls was trading away undoubtedly your best talent and know you can keep your job.
Whether Browns have first pick or someone else. The Browns will sell the farm for Manziel or Bridgewater, and yet still not have a RB!!

Trent averaged 3.6 yards per carry last year, 3.4 yards per carry so far this year, Cleveland has a better o-line than Indy, He faced 8 man fronts 5% less than the league average at 17.98% last year, and He's been getting pulled in 3rd down passing situations this season. In my opinion trading a first rounder for a guy that's going to get beat out by Ahmad Bradshaw will look pretty stupid down the road and Cleveland's new gm trading away Holmgrens pour personnel decisions will end up looking good.

TRich will not see safeties crashing down with Luck at QB. I see them doing RBBC in Indy anyway. Bradshaw has always been a injury risk for a few games a year. The fact that Bradshaw was already splitting time with Ballard before the injury. I see that going forward. Browns had given up 11 sacks as of yet to Indy's 7...Don't see huge difference there in Olines.

Lets see trading a first rounder that will be in the second half of the draft for a top three pick just 18 months ago? For a team with a glaring need at RB.

I would call it a good move. Not ballsy! As a matter of fact if they could have gotten LeShoure for a 4th I would have called that a better move than TRich for a 1st. Maybe even a 3rd.

And the only reason I call it good is the Colts are a playoff caliber team. But they stillhave some decent depth guys and Bradshaw still has some gas left in the tank IMO.

RBs can be had in the 2nd-7th round so a 1st for a RB is becoming rare.

What I have a problem with is insinuation the Fords don't have balls or it is someway the Fords fault. The only issue I have ever had with the Fords is they seem to loyal and stick with guys way to lng. But for the most part all personnel moves are the GMs. The salary cap is a great equalizer and the Lions have had a very bad history of talent evaluation. Although last years draft looks better but was that the guy from Denver's input and not Mayhew?

Ballsy because everyone knows he wasn't traded due to lack of talent.
Or maybe he was. Maybe the Browns knew exactly what he was, a career 3-yd average RB. He certainly isn't proving his doubters wrong. Ballsy? Not so much. Desperate? Possibly.

The Colts still don't have a running game.

Lol @ the title on this one. Good thing he had the balls to bail the Browns out on what is looking like one of the worst top 10 picks in a while...

This is what happens when you change GMs in the middle of the season. That's why you wait until the year is over. Much less likely to pull crap like this.

That being said Leshoure is most likely on the block and yes Gordon would fit nicely here.

Even the 1 year Gordon had last year will be more than Leshoure gives over his entire career. And Gordon will be back after sitting out a year.

I would still do that trade in a heartbeat,

I wouldn't trade a mayonnaise saminch for Gordon right now. You can't count on him to play.

I don't think Leshoure will do much either. Hope I am wrong, but I just do not see it. At least Gordon is a superstar when he gets back.

If 3 RBs get hurt, Leshoure will play even if he's not effective. If 3 WRs go down, Gordon will still be on his couch.....with the munchies!!

Only for a year. The NFL knows they need guys like him. If he was an average WR he would already be on a lifetinme ban. Superstars get treated differently because they make the league money. He will be back next year. Leshoure may be out of football for good by then.

That dude is a Titus Young type. Counting on that clown to not get in trouble with the law for another 14 months is crazy.
