I've never seen this before today....people are using music processing software to change songs from major to minor keys and reverse, and it comes out the other end in some really interesting ways, neat how changing just a few notes changes everything:

Some of them just completely reverse the tone of song and make a goofy effect:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7ZzIfAl8Qg]The Doors Riders on the Rainbow in major scale - YouTube[/ame]

But I found one that was amazing, not only changed the song but made like a whole new awesome song:

I didn't really dig it with "Riders on the Storm" but it seems to work pretty good with "Creep," imo.

I would imagine that there are a few different techniques to use when doing stuff like this.....some of it they will speed up or slow down to change the overall pitch, then stretch/compress the sound to restore it to the right length. But the more advanced stuff is where the software will identify all the notes and digitally alter the ones that need to be fit into the new key.....and in Creep, the software made some interesting choices about which notes to insert, gave it a whole new melody. And especially at the end, when there are big distorted guitars....the software was hit with a whirlwind of notes its trying to change and correct, and it ends up with a big mess of dissonance that sounds really cool, like a glitch that worked out really well.

This one works well.....maybe even suits the lyrics better than the original:
