Though I like the Faine signing I would have preferred to have signed Dan Koppen instead. Hopefully the Bengals due their due diligence and bring him in for a look, though I doubt if.

That cut intrigued me as well. It wouldn't kill us to bring him in and have a second veteran option.

I do wonder though, why did NE cut him? From what I could tell, they were having all sorts of problems with pass protection in the preseason. They don't exactly strike me as 'deep' along the line. I wonder if he has some injuries?

He repeatedly asked Brady annoying questions until they released him.

He's a 12 year vet----it's possible he just lost it-----with Tom Brady to protect, they wouldn't dump a veteran center who could still play, unless they have a can't miss prospect to replace him----
