Love Kauai! If you have the chance, I'd recommend taking a sailing trip on the Na'pali coast. Most spectacular scenery I've ever seen and maybe the best day of my life.

Hey man, where are you staying? Kihei? If you have time, you should take a trip up the Hana Highway, up towards Paia. There's supposed to be a north-northwest swell. Should be some surf up there, good viewing especially at Ho'okipa beach park. Have fun!

was near Lahaina staying at Puamana Resort. We did the drive to Hana and spent the day there and in Waianapanapa State Park (wow) that drive is something (got the T-Shirt and MAN can tourists drive like idiots, I understand why the locals go local) and we stopped at the water falls on the way back. that was pretty nice. Didnt surf (my shoulder is pretty banged up from Hockey) but spent days at the beach at the resort watching the locals make it look so fraking easy.
