As far as the more recent Alien releases, I thought Prometheus and Covenant were okay, I’m sure I’ll categorize this in the same boat.

As a kid seeing Alien and Aliens, nothing is ever going to top those for me, not even close.

Seen this one called 'Aliens Greatest Hits' and said it was paced like a video game.

Funny enough, there is a Aliens video game that is scary AF and paced much slower called Alien Isolation.
