Can't wait to see who we get for our 2nd round pick Smith provided us.

He is doing as good as I expected him to do in KC, but lets be realistic... That pass from Kaepernick to Davis for a TD? Smith couldn't have thrown that pass from half the distance with that velocity and accuracy.

Asiata: 3 TDs, 7 yards on those runs. :D Just kidding, I know goal-line TDs are difficult.

Not relevant, no one is comparing them.

I don't think Smith makes that throw to Crabtree. on the run side arm throw bullet to Crabtree for a TD.

Jamaal Charles Stole The Headlines, But Don't Forget About Alex Smith - Arrowhead Addict

This should be more about the past five games, not this game, but he's upped his production, made deeper throws, made tighter window throws, and if not for some deep drops (not safe overthrows) and a resting Redskins' game, he would have a lot more. Last five games, he's 1241 yards (248.2 yards), 63%,14 TDs, and 2 INTs. That's including a 137 yard game that he rested or handed off for a half.

No one is comparing or calling him elite, so don't get me on that, but he's listening to Reid and opening up some. He's making some riskier throws lately, but smart still. With that stat-padding game, he moved to 10th in the league rating wise. I think this stat-padding game evened out the drops he's had on deep but accurate throws. He's about where he should be; next year, he should increase his completion percentage and YPA.
