“I’d have loved to play until I’m 50 but the injuries from the last few seasons don’t let me continue my career,” Kovalev told TV channel Kanal 9 (via IIHF.com). “It’s a hard decision for me but it is what it is. It was my last season.”

I think Kovalev will go the Pavel Bure route and get into the Hall of Fame eventually, almost as many goals as Bure and close to 150 more points (plus a Stanley Cup ring with the Rangers).

/IIHF Hall of Fame is a no-doubter.

I do think he was hurt, but I also think he exaggerated it. He was good the rest of the series though. The Canadiens won the next three to come back from 1 - 3 and win the series.

That's pretty much when Thornton became whipping boy of the Boston media. Good times.

Nice , although even the lovely Anna cannot change the fact that i would rather shoot myself in the face then watch a parade.
