I’m happy.

Houston can beat this staff’s brains in for all I care at this point

Great series. Really can't believe the Sox made the alcs. Them getting swept by the O's first series of the season seems like ages ago.

This had to be one of the more improbable runs by a franchise in recent memory.

It's still kinda amazing that a team with a front line rotation of a wildly inconsistent Sale, Eovaldi and Rodriguez actually made the ALCS.

This was a horrible team just last year! It again proves my point that no team does dizzying highs and the lowest lows quite like the Red Sox. For them to be right back in the ALCS at least a year early is quite a feat. They have as good a farm system as they have in many years and they have payroll flexibility, too. Now that Pedroia is finally off the books, they are down to their last year with David Price, too. The future is bright, but the present looks way better than expected, too.

One of the main reasons they stunk was those 3 didn’t pitch at all last year.

They didn’t have 5 real mlb starters at any point and the bullpen got fried early

Well I don't think anyone thought they would be as bad as last year but it's not like the starting staff or bullpen were particularly deep this year.

I kind of felt this was after they beat the Yankees. I was happy with the season before this series ever started. We sure didn't expect this but sports is fun because you never really now what will happen.

I said on another board that this felt like a special season with the way they played early. During those weeks when they were riddled with COVID Cora was starting a pitcher he gave the OK to sign simply by watching video. It's amazing what they have accomplished and from here on our we're playing with house money.

I dare anyone to have more fun than I did last night. I got stoned and watched my team clinch a series with this puppy playing with stuffed toy in the foreground.
