Saw him many times in Petco and once at Lake Elsinore in rehab.

Seems like it happens pretty much every time now, when a team that struggles to the end just to get into the playoffs faces off against a team who clinched weeks earlier, it's hard for that team to get into playoff mode, whereas the other team has been in playoff mode for the past week.

KC were the magical underdogs last year. They are the front-runners this year. Interested to see if they play with the same chip on their shoulder now that they are expected to advance. Houston spent a good part of the year running ahead of the pack before falling behind toward the end. They barely were able to regroup enough to make the dance. KC's September was pretty gruesome for them as well, and were barely able to right the ship enough to maintain the AL's best record. I don't see a major advantage for either team. Not having to face Keuchel twice is a plus for KC though.

Royals are in huge trouble with Dallas waiting in the wing back in Houston.

KC just like Toronto must win tomorrow or else they'll play their last home game until 2016 tomorrow afternoon

only a yankee fan would forget:suds:

But there is hope for this year's teams down 0-2. One of those teams did rally in 1995 to win its series, and that was the Mariners. After losing the first two games in New York, the scene shifted to the Emerald City for games 3-4-5 (back then, that was the format instead of the 2-2-1 schedule now used).

The Mariners won Game 3, 9-4, then stunned the Yanks with a five-run eighth to win Game 4, 11-8. Game 5 turned out to be a thriller, as the Yanks scored once in the top of the 11th to take a 5-4 lead, only to see the Mariners rally for two in the bottom of the inning to advance to the American League Championship Series.

So you have kc beating Dallas in Houston where he's undefeated? That's cute
