Aldon Smith's Sack Total

I am looking at several different stat sites, and they all show 1 sack, however, I believe it should have been two. There was one play where Stafford popped up and kept playing after Aldon got him and Brooks took him down again. DET challenged the spot of the ball, and it was taken back to the Aldon Tackle, is that not considered a sack anymore? I have Aldon in several Fantasy leagues and was curious. If anyone has any info I would appreciate it.

They are currently and foolishly giving full credit to Macdonald on the challenged spot sack that should be All Dones.

But that can be reversed by the end of the week right? I've seen correction to players' stats at times ranging from a week and half later. They normally happen within 2 or 3 days after the fact.

Last night Clyde had stated that he has a total of 3 sacks. I was a little confused about that number because wasn't his first sack negated by the unsportsmanlike penalty (throwing his helmet)?!

No it was a dead ball foul so whatever occurred before the penalty counts

Something to keep in mind about official stats is they get reviewed the following day - so reviewed stats may differ from game-time stats.

At most Aldon will only get half of the sack McDonald currently has. Ray Mac gets Stafford by the foot and he is on the way to ground when Smith jumps on him.
