What's your opinion of Applewhite?

Applewhite is the type of coach we need. He has that fire in his belly and will challenge his players.

He's also the guy that recruited our stable of backs, including the last two national #1 ranked RBs.

We'll see how he progresses as a play caller. Right now the OL isn't blocking well enough to run a full offense. We can't run the ball. All these OL are from Texas schools that run spread offenses, but can't play power football.

yeah, that run, run, pass crap was horrible.

But once it dawned on him that we could NOT run the ball, he called a great game. He really doesn't have the OL to execute the offense he wants to run, which is basically the spread with a power run game.
