I dont know if it was discussed a lot here, but I remember there was quite a bit of doubt before the season about whether AJP would fit in with the Rangers. Maybe someone who's closer to the team has a different take, but to me, it looks like the guy has not only fit in, but become a team leader as well. I'm glad we have him

He's been a great addition to the team and the key thing is he has an edge. Every team has edge and now we have both AJ and Garza. I hate his impatient AB's but he does produce.

I can sure understand wanting McCann, but I don't see Atlanta letting him get away. I also think he loves the area and team....could be wrong.

McCann is from Atlanta originally. It will be very hard to get him to leave and we will have to pay thru the nose to get him. Still it's not impossible should the Braves decide to go with Gattis at catcher next year...and there has been some talk about that.

There was a shot of AJ hugging Andrus after Andrus hit the HR(which Kinsler called lol), and you could tell by the huge smile he had that he was really happy for Elvis. It seems like the majority of guys who come here from other teams fit in, and even when guys leave, like Josh, MY and Nap, they talk about the great clubhouse. Well, except maybe Cliff Lee lol

Honestly AJP is starting to look better as a hitter. He's now .303 with RISP and .291 with runners on base. He still won't take a walk and has a much more 'undisciplined' approach but he's not quite as clueless in terms of hacking at everything.
