LOL

You guys have fun being delusional.

Go Falcons!

Not all of us are delusional. I actually thought we left all the delusional guys outside of Jwill behind. But Jwill is the good kind of delusional.

What did you say that was a fact? That Jones would have caught it? Opinion. That Jones wouldn't have deflected it? Opinion. That we probably would have won with Jones. Again an opinion. I'm still waiting for that fact.

Actually, I misspoke when I said we "probably" would have won. I meant we DEFINITELY would have won. That's a fact.

No, my assessment is that your QB sucks and if Green is smart, he will find another team the first chance he gets.

Tell me, how many UGA players have been arrested in the past year?

No, wait. I got this one. 0.

Doesnt matter regardless of year I live in Atlanta and Richts players better shape up and walk the line because YOU AND I both know for a while every other week you heard a GA player in the news for an arrest.....I think Dalton will be a good player....We will see who is right and who isnt....In the meantime last I checked GA Nor Cincy has won any MAJOR titles.....So both teams have plenty of work to do....

So, it doesn't matter that no one on the team has been arrested in a year. How about that no one that was arrested within the last 2 years is still on the team? I

Georgia, no major titles? What are you are talking about?

Come on Flaming. Don't be Bip. Stating what might have happened in a different scenario is folly every time.

AJ Green catches that ball 99 times out of 100. It was wet, it's only his second NFL game, things happen. As I said earlier Green is easily the far superior WR, and every knew it until the combine. We all know what combine numbers do to people.

I get his point, and Julio would fit the offense we run really well, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't drop any passes. Green is the more talented player, but will be playing with an inferior offense. Jones will probably have the better career, at least early part of it, playing in Atlanta with Matt Ryan and Roddy White, with such a good run game. If the places were reversed, Green would put up the better numbers.

Again with the Julio Jones/A.J. Green argument? The knock on Julio coming out of college was concentration lapses and occasional drops. So how can anyone argue in hindsight that he makes that catch over A.J?

I don't get why Tubbs (and others) can make up "facts" and I can't.

Julio is the inferior WR. You draft the best player available and that was Green by a good margin over Jones. That is why you draft Green. --Tubbs

That's an opinion. There were many that questioned whether Green would in fact go in front of Julio. Though I concede most had Green as better, but to call Julio "inferior" and speak as if Green being far and away better talent coming into the draft? Give it a rest.

My point. Jones was the very definition of butter fingers in college. Green is a better WR than Jones and it's not that close. Never was until the combine. People love those combine numbers. --Tubbs

Opinion. It was close. And "never was until the combine" is an outright lie. Pimp for example called it well before the draft that Julio would close the gap when teams finally started looking at potential and overall talent, intangibles, etc. as a whole, not just stats.

Yeah, just before he was drafted ESPN showed a clip of all his dropped passes in 2010. It was more than AJ had his entire career, including practice. LOL --goDAWGS

Really?!? Outright lie portrayed as fact (almost...though I'm sure he believes it).

--------

...just giving people a taste of their own medicine. The only difference: instead of insinuating my opinions (and lies in their cases) were fact as others do, I just outright said mine was.

Julio Jones wasn't even being predicted as a top 9 pick until after the combine. He was in that 10-14 range everytime. High he was 10th to Wash and low was 14 to STL and Green was being talked about as a possible #1 pick. Then after the combine all of a sudden Jones is possibly ahead of Green. And I'm sorry Pimp is not a scout nor a a professional. And there is a reason ATL wanted Green over Jones. As I said before the combine it wasn't that close everyone had Green as the better WR and higher pick. Also it is a well stated fact that Jones had a big problem with drops and lapses in concentration in college. Not an opinion at all. Well stated fact. I don't make up my facts, I have facts to back my facts up. I'm not Bip, don't treat me as such.

Why do Georgia fans think they have a good team? Any time I see that team ranked in the top 10 I just laugh - They'll always blow it by the 5th week. I remember that SI preview issue a few years ago. I have a few UGa fans that were all geeked up for the season only to be miserable by mid-October.

They never beat Florida when it matters..... They are leaps and bounds behind Alabama as far as program..... Auburn and LSU have both had more recent success. Heck, even Arkansas and South Carolina have looked better in recent years.

Go Dawgs..... LOL!

Big knock on JJ was health and hands.

Overall consensus on Green was one of two best players in the draft (P.Peterson the other). You didn't hear that about JJ.

Now, having said all that...it is all opinion. You can't prove AJ is a better WR until they both play some. You got to realize that they came from totally different offenses in College, so it's hard to compare them. Edge goes to Green simply because he stayed healthy, and didn't drop passes every game.

That doesn't mean that JJ can't become a solid player at the NFL level. In fact, taking a look at where the offenses are right now...who would you rather put your money on to have a better rookie year and even year two? Me? JJ. Hands down. I look at the offenses each team is running, and the QB throwing the ball and it's not even close that whoever would have ended up in ATL is going to have a MUCH better start to their career. That is assuming, of course for JJ, if he can stay on the field and not drop passes.

Lol this is so true. I think it was like three years ago there was all the hype behind Georgia, leading to a preseason #1 ranking. Only to lose like 3-4 games with Stafford, Moreno, and AJ Green as a freshman. If they couldn't do it with that team then it's not happening.
