Bought the wife a tahoe about 3-4 weeks ago and yesterday she told me the AC isn't working anymore it won't cool down below 85 degrees. So I go out and turn it on and realize she only has the fan running. That little button that looks like a snowflake isn't on. I hit the button, AC comes on and runs just fine. I go back into the house to get her and explain what and where the AC button was . I then proceed to ask why she thought it wasn't cooling down below 85 degrees and she points up at the dash and says see it says 87 right now but I got it down to 85 earlier. It was the external temperature gauge
