Jets, have to be the favorite for the 6th seed... But whoever it is, i think we would all agree that the 6th seed is not that good of a team this year...
I have the bengals getting the 2nd wc because the brownies are taking the division![]()
Well then that doesn't make sense since 4 of their 7 games are against teams that they have that 1-game lead against.
I've seen this movie before. Ravens struggle through part of the regular season only to turn it on and make a deep playoff run.
I'd love to say the Chargers but with their red zone issues and 26 outside linebackers on IR I think they're dead. If Telesco can draft next year like he did this year I'll be excited for 2014.
I would much rather have the Jets schedule than the Ravens schedule. Heck the Ravens close out the season facing 3 teams leading their divisions with 2 of those being away games. Chicago this Sunday is no slouch. I would say Baltimore needs to win this Sunday's game to stand much of a chance.
I would say you are probably correct.
I think most people are riding the Jets right now because their win over NO is the last thing they remember. We talked about this before...the Jets play up and down to their competition. I'm not sure it really matters what their schedule is. Would you be surprised if they lose their next two?
Speaking of the Jets (and current news)...how many games in total do you think Ed Reed will play against the Ravens this year? Will he be released and then signed by the Pats?
I agree they have played up and down to their competition. I will say for the most part though Rex Ryan has found a way to get the most out of his players usually. The fact that he was able to take the Jets to 2 straight AFC Championships with Sanchez is pretty impressive. They seem to have righted the ship some from what they were last year and have this defense playing as a top 5 unit like they have been for most of Rex's time in New York plus actually having a run game again.
Now would I be surprised if they lost their next two...Probably not. Would I be surprised if they won both of those games...Probably not. This is a tough team to figure out from one week to the next but at least schedule wise it looks favorable and they do have a game style that is built to win when the weather begins to turn.
The dolphins seem to have the most loaded team.
My pick
Given that they have lost five of their past six, including their last game to previously winless TB, and they have lost two strating o-linemen, that seems like a curious pick.
it does.
To me last year. The only thing the Phns were lacking was a target for Tanny
Mike Wallace in FA. Problem solved
+ Cam Wake is my boy and i want to see how he do in playoffs![]()
Geno (13) is on pace to throw 23 INTs...if he can figure that out...they do have an easier schedule. I like BUF this wk though and @ BAL is going to be tough...I've said this before...NYJ have to sweep their 3 home games and get one on the road.
I actually think the Ravens have the most talent. Something has just always been off with their offensive playcalling. Happens every year. The dolphins seem to have the most loaded team.
What about the 3 win teams? I think if the Steelers can fend off the Lions at home this weekend, then they should definitely join the conversation.
I agree Geno to me is the big question mark in this whole equation. If he can be average for the rest of the year then I think the Jets get the final spot. If he hits that rookie wall though then the Jets are in for a long end to the season and either Baltimore or San Diego to me would climb into that final spot.
Mine too. I actually think they make it back to the Super Bowl.
