Arizona was without there starting LT, RT, & LG when Peterson joined the team. Factoring in that Palmer was injured for the season during Peterson's second game, I though he looked pretty good.

His only game with Palmer, he produced 26/134/2.

His only game with Palmer, he produced 26/134/2.

We were without our starting center for 10 games, LG for 7 games, RG for 2 games, LT for 6 games, and the backups missed a ton of games.

So the QB was responsible for AP having a good game? 6 carries for 10 yards is what he had before Palmer got hurt in the second game. Maybe AP’s one good game was because it was against a horrid defense?

The first problem you have to address if you want the Redskins to run the ball is to get a TE that can block. Gruden doesn't use a FB and our TEs are not good blockers of any type. You aren't going to win if you are always going to go 5 against 6, 7 or 8.

Remember a few years back when a guy named Shanahan was here and so many were bitching about our terrible OL but we could run the ball.
