COLUMBIA, Mo. - Just days after eclipsing its goal of 45,000 season tickets, the Mizzou Athletic Department announced that it has sold out of football season tickets for the 2012 season.

The season ticket sellout is the first on record, setting a new standard of fan support at Mizzou as the Tigers prepare for their inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference.

If Mizzou doesn't win though it won't last. Trust me. Basketball will an entirely different story though. Mizzou basketball fans were to the Big 12 what Colorado football fans were...the worst.

Good for them, hope they do well in the SEC and I'll be rooting for them to put an end to that drought since their last conference title, the 1969 Big Eight Co-Championship.

they really just suck. this may be considered a biased source, but they cite some specific instances.
