Yeah, lots of subways go right to Barclays Center. There are some hotels near it, but they're as expensive as staying in Manhattan. That area has been changing a lot

I'm thinking of doing this.

Has anyone been in the suits? There's someone selling suit B22 at the above site for $118 each. Cuse vs UM on 8 March.

The sheraton in Brooklyn is offering $144 a night. Its close enough to walk.

For two nights this would come to about $850 with gas and parking at the hotel. Ain't no way I'm doing the whole tournament.

In the city hotels have been pretty expensive in the past. I haven't looked in a long time though. I'll be driving so parking is always an issue for us out of town'rs but I'm looking at things.

I've been in there to see the Nets, but not the suites. The stadium is compact and higher than wide, so the view from even the upper seats is good.

You can get a cheaper hotel than that, and take the train to Barclays, but up to you.

Be careful of parking in NYC hotels. It is very limited and often they run out of space. There is usually parking around Prospect Park, my sister used to live around there, and I could find spaces pretty easily. It's a bit of a hike, but a nice walk. You can also cab it or take the subway.

I want to go to the Big East tournament, but I'm already taking off 2 days for the first 2 days of the tourney

Love FSU's draw. UNC, Duke, and Louisville all on the other side of the bracket and won't have to see any of them until the championship game. Getting the winner of VT and Wake/BC and then Notre Dame/Virginia is about the best thing they could have hoped for. Now here's to hoping they can win away from Tallahassee.

Yep Barclays to me is better than MSG. I haven't been to MSG since they renovated it though but as you said there is not a bad seat in that arena. I went to several nets game in the 200 sections and the view was damn good.

When Leonard Hamilton is your coach, losing at any time is a possibility. One of the worst coaches in the country let alone the ACC. This team has Final 4 talent. We'll probably bow out in the 2nd round.

I looked outside the city and could get decent place for just over $100 a night but not knowing the area's, the times the LIRR and subways were running, that got me looking in Brooklyn. I didn't think $144 a night was bad knowing I could walk back to the hotel any time rather than be strapped down to the trains.

But I'm going to blow this one off. This was one of those sounds good at the moment things. SU can get some City cheerleaders for this week and I'll hit the bars here.

I would think so. I feel like if they win against BC then they're in. If they want to be 100% then beat Va Tech again. No way they're out if they win 2 games in this tourney.

Ugh, if UVa advances all the way to the CG, they will play in the 9pm slot every night. So much for getting any decent rest this week.
