Was thinking great thing about Carton is he should be a 4 year guy.....though remember thinking same of Conley when he came in (at least not one and done).

I don't think DJ makes it all four. Think he's gonna break out eventually

I wish Andre Wesson would get less minutes. Appreciate his contribution when the team was short but he's not all that talented

Definitely nice to see some shooters this year. Guess the one positive to getting 4 star guys and not the elite 1 and dones is they stay 4 years.

But, yeah, wouldn't mind some 5 star guys...would think the lure of PT as well as Holtman's coaching might land them 1-2 next few years.

Perfect combo would be mostly guys that will be here for 2-4 years, with a one and done every 2 or 3 years.

Sometimes you get a guy like Russell that wasn't a top 20 guy and just blows up but If you look at Nova and UNC/Virginia they haven't had much one and done guys and those are the recent champs

That happened at Maryland with a guy named Kevin Heurter, who came in as a solid 3 star but grew several inches since high school. I loved the guy, thought he would be a star by the time he was a senior. He only lasted 2 years and now plays for the Atlanta Hawks, 2nd team all rookie. Never saw that coming when he was a freshman.

He's a pretty good defensive player. Offense is kind of limited though.
