You can rank them or just list them . For me it's

Gonzaga
Texas Tech
Michigan
Michigan St
Duke
UVA
Tennessee
VT

After that it gets tougher but I guess I'd go

Kansas
Marquette
Buffalo
Florida St
Kentucky
Nevada
Purdue
Auburn

Who ya got ?

Pretty solid list. Personally, I would take off Purdue and Auburn and put in UNC. Can't count out UNC in a year where they're in the Top 25.

This is always a hard thing to predict. You'd have to put UVA at the top of the list in terms of how they're playing, but they haven't made the Final 4 under Bennett. Those kinds of things come into play somewhat.

In terms of putting $ down on a team to make the Final 4, my order would be...

Duke
Michigan
Gonzaga
Kansas
UVA
Tennessee
Michigan State

The obvious:

Duke
Gonzaga
Tennessee
Michigan
Michigan State
Virginia

Would be somewhat surprised:

Kansas(with no Azibuke)
Texas Tech
Virginia Tech
Florida State
Nevada
Kentucky

Dark Horses:

Maryland
Indiana
Villanova
LSU

Guards win in the tourney and experience helps a lot. Purdue has both

That’s 4 games tho.

I know all those teams in that tier are basically a reach.

But give me Nova over Purdue to win 4 games still.

IMO Purdue is basically a slightly shittier version of my Marquette guys. And while we have the make up to potentially make a run, it’s still a long shot for us.

I think it's a long shot for all but about 8 teams ( including KU, UK, UNC ). Lots of parity this year though ( maybe even more than last year ) so anything could happen . Shit I almost put Iowa on my list lol. If that tells you anything

Yeah I definitely agree.

I even think teams like TT and Virginia are boom or bust too. If they happen to run into a team that spreads and chucks they might get bounced early on a case of not being able to score enough.

And I figured you might have Iowa in there. You’re always confident! And I really don’t think they are much of a reach compared to the other teams in that tier.

KenPom has them(UF) rated 24th overall but 7th in Adjusted Defense, and that's one ahead of Kansas. They are rated 88th in Adjusted Offense so there's plenty of room for them to get hot, and I like Coach White. They are 9-6 right now and Purdue is 10-6 so flip a coin.

I just don't see how we could make another run this year without ANY offense to speak of :(

But we are building.

I just didn't recall Florida having really beaten anyone of note. I like White too though so if they do get hot anything is possible
