The Packer fans chest thumping the loudest right now are the ones who were saying after the Thanksgiving loss in Detroit they wanted to lose the last 4 games of the season.

I don't think anyone was rooting for the Packers to lose. You sound threatened by the packers now that we have Rodgers back.

Taken from the GB forum dated 12/09/2013

No exactly what you said before :L

I said that when the Packers had a snowballs chance in hell of even being in this situation. I never said if we had a chance to make the playoffs on the last game of the season that we shouldn't play Rodgers. :L

Good Lord I hope Chicago wins. As a Niners fan I want NO PART of Lambeau in the first round of the playoffs. Which right about now seems almost guaranteed.
At current standings the 9ers might be facing one of these teams for sure. The 9ers have done well at Lambeau in RECENT past. Hard to say how well the Pack will be with a still hurt AR. Lacy is a hell of a RB...good pick for them. The Bears are still trying to figure out who will be the best QB. I give a nod for GB to win the division IF Rodgers plays.

Who in the hell says he's still hurt, are you the packers doctor or even a doctor at all?

Yep. Also the same ones who called him soft and said he was no Favre.

I can just feel another playoff run.

I can't. Not with a defense like this. If the run defense we had early in the season was to suddenly reappear that would be one thing...but its just a giant leaky faucet right now.

I've always said he should come back if it came to this exact situation.

I'd rather just keep him out the rest the season.

You said point blank just shut him down even when I along with others said there was a great chance that the exact thing that has happened would and that's the packers playing the bears for a division title week 17. The whole exchange is in the packers forum in the "Doctor reveals exact tests Rodgers must pass to get back on field" thread.

You mean like how the defense was playing before rodgers got hurt? You know the offense improving improves the defense right?

I think he has been healed...its Thompson being over cautious. The medical staff here has a history of doing that.

I can't buy into that argument. The defense has played better the last few weeks because Flynn has been able to substain drives...but the amount of injuries and what seems like a lack of effort has taken hold of the unit. Can they get some stops sure....but that physical aspect they had seems long gone.

Yep. Their defense is the biggest question mark and appears to be what could be their downfall. If their defense could at least bring it up a few notches, they could win some playoff Games.

I don't know what you're worried about, the Packers don't have much of a defense. This will be an interesting game. The Bears are the team that injured Rodgers. I expect a high scoring game. Defense isn't something either team is known for this season.

I agree. As good as Rodgers is, he is not God. They are not all of a sudden unbeatable. 40 out of 41 experts have picked them to win over the Bears now. In Chicago where we are 5-2 this year.

Apparently the Packers Defensive Line is so bad they failed to record a single tackle last week against the Steelers who's Offensive Line has had it's problems this season. Rodgers is a huge plus for the Packers, but I still think the Bears can win.
