I actually don't see anything about the Astros taking over in Fresno on the web. I heard it on KNBR and ran with it. The rumors I see on the web have the Brewers taking over in Fresno.

Love that park in Sac ...saw a A's game there years ago. Good move for Giants...big support for Giants in Sac and surrounding area. Giants should thrive there for years.

Perhaps even better for the A's now would be Memphis or Columbus or Charlotte or even Louisville. Or Nashville itself, and just move their AAA again to one of the other aforementioned cities.

Perhaps a fairly priced sweetener from the Giants would further encourage such a desperately-needed move.
