A&M just won a share of the SEC regular season title

With the win against Vanderbilt today. First time in over 30 years A&M has won a conference title in men's basketball.

I remember the last time, in SWC days. Wasn't Shelby Metcalfe the coach? Anyway, he was a good coach back in the day.

Yes Shelby was the coach back then it's too bad he's not alive anymore to witness this.

Yeah I saw a number of games when he was the coach and they played Texas. I have vague memories of his teams getting hot in the SWC tourney regularly? but it is an old hazy memory.

Especially hazy because I was probably in college and under some kind of influence...
