Manning's record breaking season is overshadowing some great individual performances this year.

Look at these stats:

Peyton Manning and the Four Horsemen: Regular Season Report - Mile High Report

Especially impressive is Julius Thomas. He may have only had 788 yards receiving (tied with Welker) but he had only 4 drops on 88 targets with 65 receptions and 12 TD's. He missed 2 games with injury or may have broken 1000 yards.

To think this guy only played 1 year of college ball and has little playing experience his first 2 years due to injury.

All 4 receivers over 10 TDs, Decker and Demaryius Thomas over 1200 yards receiving (Thomas 4th in the league with 1430) and DT leads all WR with 14 TDs (only TE Jimmy Graham of the Saints has more with 16).

This is by far the best Receiving/TE group in the NFL this year. Undisputed.

Let's not forget about Knowshon Moreno.

1038 rushing yards. 10 rushing TDs. 4.3 YPC for the season.

548 receiving yards. 3 Receiving TDs.

His best year as a pro and the stat you can't measure is how much heart and passion he played with this year.

Montee Ball finally showing his potential the last half of the year. 559 yards and 4.7 YPC.

So let's toast the 2014 Denver Broncos offense as the best offense the NFL has ever seen.

Great stuff, Morph! Let's not forget what a great job the Broncos offensive line did this year. Considering that it was a patchwork quilt at times, they did a remarkable job at protecting Manning. It was also great to see Caldwell, Tamme and Dreesen step up in some games when starters were out. The Broncos offense this year has been nothing short of amazing. Let's hope their strong performance continues in the playoffs!

BTW....long term forecast for the playoff game on the 12th looks like low 50's and mostly sunny. Perfect football weather!

I think that adding Welker and the emergence of Julius Thomas were the biggest upgrades to this year's historic offense. Moreno turning his career around after being inactive for a number of games last year was also huge. Also worth mentioning, in my opinion, is how masterfully PFM dealt with the loss of Clady, along with just generally getting even better than he was last year.

Just hope the offense continues to click throughout the playoffs. That happens, we should fare very well.

It is all about Manning. Without him, none of these guys have these kinds of season.

We had Thomas and Decker with Tebow and none of them came close to touching those numbers.

I know Welker and Thomas are new, but even Moreno was one foot out the door before Manning got here. It is all about the franchise QB, and it always will. None of those guys are that good without Manning calling the plays and audibles and making the passes.

So while they are great players, they should be well overshadowed by Manning and his season. Manning makes decent WR's look like all-pros, and RB's that are below average look like HOF'ers. He specially did that in Indy with the two main RB's he had there.

Manning no doubt makes those guys better but they also help out Manning. Look at the games where the opposing team got tough with our receivers. When they jammed the receivers the entire offense struggled.

There is a difference though in only throwing the ball 10 times a game compared to 60 times a game. The Broncos ran two completely different types of offenses obviously so who was the featured players has changed from RB's to WR's. Throw in Peyton is a HOF and Tebow is well out of the league already.

Now obviously Peyton helps these guys look better but I think most would agree that even before Peyton came many already noticed the talent that Thomas had/has. Decker looked like a solid #2. Welker was already looking good. What I am getting at is this is a two way street in Peyton has said a big reason he came to Denver is because of the talent he saw in Decker and Thomas. Then you add in a quality TE and slot receiver and it is just almost impossible to stop. Honestly Moreno isn't playing much better than he usually does. The thing this season is he has finally stayed healthy the whole year. He averaged over 4 yards per carry before Peyton and is averaging just slightly above what he was before. The one area where we have finally got to see some of his talent though is in the receiving game. We all knew when he was drafted that he actually was pretty darn good at catching the football and now we finally get to see that.

Clearly manning makes a big difference. But being surprised they didn't rack up monster numbers with a QB who can't throw an accurate pass 10 yards? Lets be real here.
