It's like smokers/cigarettes to me. Every now and then I'll get a smell and be like ohhh that smells good. But most of the time it turns my nose.

Some people love Whitts and swear by it. They have many locations and have been in business for decades. But it's the sauce that I think people like mostly with their sandwiches, and I'm more about the meat/smoke flavors.

There’s a local company call Swadley’s and one called Van’s too with several locations. Both are complete shit. Barbecue should never be about the sauce. The sauce should always be an accent, but the meat should absolutely be outstanding even without it. When I’m eating great barbecue even with great sauce, I’m very stingy with the sauce.

I remember when I was maybe 20 years old I was out hunting with an older buddy of mine it was absolutely freezing and he offered me coffee from his thermos. I couldn’t even get half of it down. This morning I had at least 3 cups.
