Hammer and I had more than a few words. He took me off line one day and we had a discussion about a bunch of different things. From that point on, we never had cross words and I almost bought the Hoop. Swaggy got it and has done a much better job than I could ever do. He's pretty much given the mods control but makes the final decision. I have nothing but the utmost respect for what he's done to make this board a place where people can vent and discuss anything. He's pretty much told the mods not to get emotionally involved in any thread and they've had to zip it yet keep control of the thread.

They've canned guys and they've given all of them constant warnings about taking things over the line. Especially in the Politics Forum. It's the old saying, "Give a man enough rope and he'll hang himself." The Mods have actually spliced the rope for more than a couple of posters in here and they've still made their own nooses.

Ever notice how quick the insulters stop with the personal attacks on others? I've never gotten a warning but I had one shared with me by a guy who got one. It wasn't nasty or mean. Just simply said, "You crossed the line. Next time, you get a three day suspension. There will be no third warning." The remark he made was at the top of the warning. Great job by the mod and it worked.
I had a friendly relationship with Hammer and still do. I rarely go to the other place because I don't like it.
All about high school humor. Some folks will never grow up.
Warnings are appropriate. A mods job is difficult. Most of us could not do it.
You could not do it. You are thin-skinned. Not dissing you, you are a great poster.
Most of us just don't have the requisite personality to Mod.
I was offered the job of Patriots board Mod. We don't need one. We self -police.
A lot of strong characters here on the Patriots board!

By the way, I have gotten warnings and I deserved it!

Only one on that list has been here for a decade,
2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.
How many years is that? That is 10 years!!!!!
Everybody that joined in 2013 or earlier has been here a decade! That ois a majority of posters I noted.

It's not new math- what was the 1st year of 21st century? 2021 - but many people celebrated the new century in 2000.

I just snuck into the 50s. February 1950.

My father once said, "Your mother and I tried to have a baby for seven years and couldn't do it. We did it once for fun and you were the result. The lesson here is.....if you try too hard, you'll miss the mark. Never do anything under stress, it won't work."

My childhood friend came from a family with 4 boys.
They tried to have kids for years and finally adopted.
Soon after they adopted, 3 boys came in succession.

I came from FanNation when they shut us down. So did @Dolemite censored and @Sir Robin Of Camelot, under a different name now. @Catwoman and @Center Ice , too. We've lost some because they faded away and a few (@lady coach belicat) bacause they're not with us anymore.

On an older forum, I've lost friends from Covid. Take care of yourselves.
Lady Coach Belicat was awesome. Wish she were still around. There was another fellow back then called BadgerNation. Used to call him the dope smoking snow boarder. He was cool. Then there was CreepyFace. A unique Joisey character.

Still haven't got the demon Covid although many people I know have had it.

No love for either. Don’t like Teslas either. I’d never own one if I was gonna buy an EV.

I drive German iron.
The wife and I are considering an Audi A8 upon retirement. I still prefer the Volvo S90 Inscription but she like the Audi
