[From Alex Pavlovic]

So, there’s a Panda Express in Pasadena that serves ORANGE CHICKEN BURRITOS. I suggest those of you coming back here for the NLCS give it a try. Both teams can clinch a playoff spot today. If the Brewers lose, it doesn’t matter if the Giants win.

Pence RF
Panik 2B
Posey 1B
Sandoval 3B
Susac C
Dominguez LF
Arias SS
Blanco CF
Hudson P

Gordon 2B
Puig CF
Gonzalez 1B
Kemp RF
Ramirez SS
Crawford LF
Uribe 3B
Ellis C
Kershaw LHP

My comment: Pablo does not hit lefties. Kershaw is a lefty, and a damn good one. So why is he hitting at #4? He's hitting like .170 for September. Would rather see Arias at 3rd, Duffy at short, and Posey hitting 4th. Not that any of this matters against Kershaw. So watch Panda hit three homers off Mr. Unhittable.

At least it's Dominguez in left. But, man, the only thing that lineup is missing is Molina batting cleanup.

We gotta at least get Morse back for the playoffs to have a decent chance (which already is hard for me to think we have without Pagan). Really it's going to be one of those 'no one believed in us' years, kind of like 2010.

And let's face it...tonight is Kershaw time.

Who to put in lead off? Pence? He's hitting .184 for Sep, with 0 2b+3b and 2 hr.
Panik? He's hitting .294 for Sep w/5 2b.

I wonder why the PTBs don't give Carbonell a shot. He is the CF of the future. Give him some time in the Padre series to see what he is.

Lighting in a bottle and such...

This is (yet one more place) where I'm ignorant. Does being called up to the 40 constitute using an option? Or is that only if/when he's sent down again? Does being called up to the 40 not use an option, unless you actually play? I'm trying to find a "legal" excuse for not playing Carbonell, because I sure can't find a strategic one.

What happened to Duvall? Is he hurt? He hasn't played in forever.

Didn't caveman have a 7-HR season?

Maybe that was with the Pirates...

Nope...

Career high if 3 in '89.

Surprising, looking back at his batting numbers, he wasn't THAT great of a hitter. Bum is a significantly better hitter.

I asked this yesterday: has any pitcher had a better season with the bat in the last 5-10 years?
