Well, the ball got there early...He might have been safe, but it wasn't a horrible call. I can live with that (unlike the Ishi call).

Sure. He's probably called out >50% of the time. No bone on that one.

Ah shit, McCarver is calling this game.

Now that would be the worst voice to hear just before death...Well, close 2nd to Sarah Palin's anyway.

Baggs Rips into Crawford a little bit:

While I believe the Giants had every right to be frustrated today, what most bothered me, watching this game unfold, was the manner in which Crawford responded to the criticism he heard from the batter’s box and the visiting dugout.

He was confrontational. He was combative. And yes, he was unprofessional.

Did you see the way he rung up Aubrey Huff in the third inning? I think Enrico Palazzo would even agree that it was over the top.

According to one player, Crawford kept screaming “Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!” to Giants hitting coach Hensley “Bam Bam” Meulens.

SD celebrating a little too exuberantly - too wound up.

Looks like Baggs had the same take:

I was a little surprised at how much they celebrated. I haven’t seen Brian Wilson belly-bump anyone after any of his 42 saves this year.

Pretty damning on Crawford. Would have been interesting to see if the Giants would have gotten the same zone with a righty on the mound.

To think Crawford's crew could have a big hand in two Giants' losses this year is pretty aggravating. And to be so arrogant about it is just insulting.

I wasn't too happy with the excessive celebration either. Hopefully the Giants take it out on Latos today.

I thought it was a HnR. Not sure Ford would have the green light to "go on his own" in such a big game / situation.

i hate HnR's with 2 strikes in that situation. that ball coulda bounced and posey would have had to swing at it

Time to put in Nate. He's been hot the last several weeks - 2 for 2, i believe.

LOL, missed this one yesterday.

Sorry for the newbie question guys, but why is Torres Towers? :L

But what if her words were "This is gonna be the best 48 hours of your life..." while wearing her secretary's outfit??

I could look past the mom from Bobby's World voice then..
